For the preparation of data first we save the image from Google earth and GeoRef
them in arc map. we digitized the departments of Punjab University by using Google earth
then import them into ArcGIS (arc Map) and then removed all the errors in it to make our
data better and efficient .We add the points of the gates the main gates and as well the
department’s gates we digitized the roads of the Quaid-e-Azam campus then we make
survey sheets and go on the ground surveys to cross validate the area features. We count
the departments and check where security measures are less we chose those departments
like gate no 1, 2, 3, 4, heily, 15, Islamic center and Jinnah. These gates have low security
and the student strength is high for example Islamic center is the main bus point stop all
the university point starts from here and at that point there is security threat is high
